Education

Border Lakes Region 2 offers workshops and training in musical education, performance skills, directing, arranging, quarteting, administration and personal development. We utilize talented faculty from within and outside the barbershop community, both internationally and locally. Workshops are varied and provide a broad base of information appealing to singers of all skill levels and interests.  Check out a list of upcoming educational opportunities here.

Competition

Regional competition is one of the highlights of our Sweet Adeline year. Each spring, choruses and quartets from Region 2 gather to demonstrate the results of their hard work over the year. An esteemed panel of judges evaluates each group and provides constructive comments for continued improvement. Performers are able to track their progress from year to year by the growth in their scores. The first place chorus and quartet have the honor of representing Region 2 at a future International competition. See more information about upcoming and past competitions here.
